2006 Prospectus

The first practical training session is often on a one to one basis when your tutor will be available to answer any questions you may have. 

We have a number of Preferred Therapists who are happy to share their skills with you.  We will endeavour to find  a Preferred Therapist in your own area.  These are all fully endorsed by Hypnotic World and feedback from both students and trainers has been very positive.  Please note that Practical Tuition is an optional extra, however, our trainers will charge a reasonable price for sharing their expertise with you.

Should you require further one to one sessions these will usually be available.

Some of the topics covered in the workshops are:

• Direct inductions (including Rapid Inductions)
• Indirect inductions
• Building rapport
• Combining Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) with hynotherapy
• Pacing and leading
• Ideomotor techniques
• Rational emotive hypnotherapy
• Symbology
• Suggestibility tests

We also organize seminars and workshops which are educational and informal.  These offer you a chance to meet others who share similar interests and aspirations to you.  The feedback that you receive through participation in the group setting is considered an integral part of the Course.

As part of your examination you may be asked to work with a client, inducing hypnosis and structuring a therapeutic session under the guidance of your tutor.

Please Note

Where students are traveling long distance to attend the Practical Tuition, it may be possible to combine stages one and two of the training into one day and attend stage three at a later date.  Please mention if you intend to do this when  enrolling on the Course.

Optional

The Practical Tuition is offered as an option extra, however it is possible to obtain the Diploma in Hypnotherapy without attendance in Yorkshire or Nottinghamshire, where they are currently held.  In this case we recommend that you have a session of hypnotherapy with a professional therapist in your own area and will locate our nearest Preferred Therapist.
