Q. What qualifications do I
need to train in Hypnotherapy?
A. No formal qualifications are required to become a Hypnotherapist; for
some people the aim is to help friends or family or just to satisfy their
own curiosity - others go on to make a successful and rewarding career out
of hypnotherapy. All you really need is a genuine interest and a desire to
succeed.
Q. How does the training take place?
A. A large proportion of the course is written material with question papers
to keep track of your progress and make sure that you fully understand the
content. The course includes 8 text manuals, four double-sided cassettes of
inductions/therapies/relaxation music and conversation with a special
‘confidence for hypnotherapists’ recording (to get you started). If you are
able to travel to Doncaster you will be offered the chance to receive
additional individual and/or small group tuition (no extra charge). If you
are not able to travel, then you may, if you wish, submit video recording/s
for assessment but this is not compulsory.
Q. When does the course begin?
A. Because the course is largely distance learning based, you may begin the
course at any time you wish and study it at your own pace.
Q. What if I don’t understand any part of it?
A. The Professional Hypnotherapy Course is laid out in a clear and easily
comprehensible way, however on-line support and advice is available 24 hours a day or via the
telephone if you need it. With your first lesson you will receive a
dictionary of hypnotic terms for your reference.
Q. How can I meet other Hypnotherapists?
A. Many students enjoy entering into discussions, debates and personal chat
about hypnosis and hypnotherapy on www.hypnoticworld.com and other,
similar interest web sites. We will also endeavour to put you in touch with
other therapists in your area and hold workshops and meetings regularly.
Q. I can’t afford the fees at the moment, is there a less expensive way
of paying?
A. The complete eight-part training programme may be purchased as a home
study "Pay As You Learn Course", upon request. Students simply pay as they
study, only paying for each section of the programme as and when they are
ready to progress to the next module level. This means that the course is
open and within the availability of anyone, regardless of their financial
status, and may be achieved by our option to allow students to spread the
cost of the training over a convenient period of time.
Q. What happens if I
fail the exam?
A. Your understanding of the course is assessed at each level through
question papers that are included with each lesson. If you do not appear to
have understood any particular aspect of the course you will be guided in
the right direction with valuable feedback. In the extremely unlikely event
of failing an exam, students are given the opportunity to retake free of
charge.
Q. I am interested in buying the Course but what is my guarantee that
I will learn hypnosis by the end of it.
Each Lesson comes with a money back guarantee if returned in its original
condition within 8 days. The Course is extremely comprehensive and
teaches you everything you need to know to become a proficient
Hypnotherapist. All previous Course students have gone on to establish their
own successful practice, and we are very committed to providing quality
material and ongoing support. Students can attend our workshops as many
times as they like, or feel necessary, (for no additional fee) and in the
unlikely event that, at the end of 8 lessons, you did not feel competent to
hypnotize someone, you would receive personal coaching from your assigned
tutor until you felt ready to commence.
